“We’re always working to reduce our carbon footprint. Crafting pieces that use more local and circular production with zero waste. It’s a vital part of what we do.”

- Ben Fern, Designer

Our Pledge

We are committed to improving what we do. Ensuring we are always creating new ways to reduce our impact and maximise our eco-conscious practices. We are constantly striving to set new standards in our industry and aren’t afraid to do things a little differently and see no reason why things can’t be sustainably minded and still accessible to all.

Materials

An example: around 75% of water bottles are not recycled, ending up incinerated, littered, or in landfill where they take centuries to degrade, releasing microplastics along the way. Along with cutting down plastic use, we believe in turning any that already exists into something new. Yes, recycling may not be the answer to everything - we want to avoid greenwashing - but in the move towards more circular manufacturing, it’s something that can help on the way.

Hair Pins

Core Collection

We don’t want a token sustainable range, we want it built into our brand, so we started big! We have recalibrated our most popular creations, the Essentials collection, now making it out of recycled materials, including traceable GRS-certified fibres, with FSC, plastic-free packaging. It’s the same high quality but also happens to be better for the world.

Stacked Rolls of Fabric

Made in UK

Last year, we launched the Molly & Rose ‘Made in UK,’ beginning with hair elastics produced in a small family-run factory in our hometown. Using recycled fabric, these are the start of something that we hope to grow - reducing carbon emissions, using more environmentally-minded materials and supporting our local economy and community.
